![]() ![]() :o Finally, the spanner hook on the GunTec armorer's wrench works fine with this barrel nut. And yes, I've thought about it, but I don't have the proper grinding tools to "shave" the gas block without mucking it up, so I'll let it be (for now). ![]() However, for me and my non-precision purposes, it is acceptable. For some, this may not be free-floating enough once things warm up or when handling the rifle roughly as unwanted contact is inevitable. ![]() But with progressive tightening of the three Centurion screws, the gap lessened to the point of just a sheet of paper (or two if you are lucky!) in thickness. When hand-fitting all the components, it seemed like there would be adequate clearance between the bottom of the Noveske Lo-Pro gas block and the CMR rail. And to answer any of those still wondering, a Noveske Lo-Pro gas block (as found on individually sold barrels with pinned gas blocks) WILL fit inside the Centurion Arms CMR, but BARELY. Echoing the sentiments of others, love the look and feel of these slick rails. ![]()
